Цель настоящего документа – заполнить пробелы доказательной медицины в вопросах ведения пациентов с ХСН пожилого и старческого возраста на основе анализа современных знаний и обобщенного опыта. Основные принципы диагностики и лечения ХСН изложены в Российских рекомендациях [1]. Представляемый документ содержит только концептуальные подходы и практические рекомендации по ведению пациентов с ХСН пожилого и старческого возраста. Он адресован ученым, планирующим и выполняющим исследования в области кардиологии и гериатрии, врачам, проходящим обучение в рамках непрерывного медицинского образования, аспирантам и ординаторам.
